Is Jeff Laynes? |
| Jeff
Laynes a graduate from Oakland High School’s class
of 1989. Holding an AA degree from Merritt College and
a BS degree in Public Policy and Management from University
of Southern California. Mr. Laynes knows first hand about
hard work spending half his life trying to perfect the
100 meter dash. Jeff is quoted as saying. “The thing
that I am trying to accomplish is breaking the world record
in the 100 meters. I want to be the world’s fastest
human. Once I break the world record, I will teach and
show coaches and athletes of all ages how to beat the
best. I believe that positive role models, hard work,
dedication and discipline I can help children reach their
goals. I like track, but I love the Lord.” Jeff
has competed professionally in the United States and all
over Europe clocking the second fastest 50 meter time
in the world this year. Jeff Laynes goal is to make the
Olympic team that will represent the USA. He is ranked
one of the top 10 sprinters in the world attributing his
focus and dedication to the sport of Track and Field.
